Based on the original e30 premium speakers these units share only one major commonality and that is their shape. using the original shape allows the unit to keep that old school and retro design aspect but everything inside has been adjusted to allow for fitment of taller speakers, much higher quality sound and for you guys like me whose car only originally came with normal speakers this is a direct fit that is completely reversible.
Features:
- Fits 130mm speakers or 5.25 inches with a height clearance of upto 40mm
- Ability to add and fit a tweeter (if you want a custom size tweeter I would just need the dimensions to adjust the model)
- Using the original 5.25” mounts in the baseboard which makes this upgrade completely reversible.
- The tweeters are aimed towards the cabin unlike the original premium speakers.
